✈️ Dambusters Raid

Starting on this day one of the most innovative and daring bombing raids of the Second World War took place. 617 Squadron flying specially modified Lancaster bombers equipped with bouncing bombs breached two dams and damaged another in Germany’s Ruhr Valley.
