This was a replacement mug but I had also ordered one for an elderly ex-RAF colleague. They arrived together the other evening and very pleased with the mugs. I have informed other ex-RAF friends and I know that one order has been made.

Having seen the RAF versions of these mugs I thought I would ask if a Royal Navy version be possible. Barry came back straight away and was brilliant at suggesting and adjusting before the final version. It was a present for a friend. I ordered 2 of the same and asked if they could be delivered to my friend's address. This Barry did for me . I was so impressed with the service and thoroughly recommend using the service. The finish of the mug is of exceptional quality and worthy of 5 stars. I only gave 4 because I asked for a pilot officer ring but the flying officer ring was used instead. Pilot officer ring is narrower than the F.O. ring.

The mug shows the rank insignia and also the rank and name. However when it arrives you do not see the rank stated merely the name. So, whilst it doesn’t state it, you would need to include the rank and name in the personalised field. Hence the reason that I deducted one star!
However, the mug is of excellent quality, arrived quickly and was well packaged preventing damage whilst in transit. I would certainly purchase again.
